Here are some top tips to achieve great reference photos.
Try to avoid bright sun light as this can make the coat look a different colour. I would say natural light is perfect either outdoors or by a window.
Try to get down to the pets level to avoid weird angles.
We are looking for a nice natural eye reflection no camera flashes or red eye.
Clear details in the fur such as colours and direction.
